How to make an essential oil roller

Mar 20, 2017

Having an easy way to use your essential oils is the best thing you can do for yourself! When things are in-sight and easily accessible we tend to use them more!

Step 1: Order yourself some roller bottles. We like them from here or here.

Step 2: Get a carrier oil. We like V-6 from Young Living or fractionated coconut oil. If making a roller for your face we’d recommend you use jojoba oil.

Step 3: Fill your 10mL bottle with 4 drops of essential oils. For kids, 2 drops. Choosing the amount of drops is up to you, but it’s best to start with properly diluted ratios! See kids dilution chart below.

Step 4: Fill the rest of your bottle with a carrier oil. Add the roller top, give it a swirl and you’re ready to use it! Some people like this tool to help with inserting and removing the roller fitment.

Step 5: Label them! It’s easy to find yourself with a handful of new rollers you’ve just made, and they all look the same! Label them!
